I was reading that Sin Heng Kee porridge at Chong Pang is pretty good. So I made a trip down. Due to Covid, they only do take away business. I was there on a weekend 2pm, it is pretty quiet. So when I walked in to order, they immediately cook it. I waited for about 5 mins for my porridge to be cooked. I ordered their signature porridge which is everything in. You have liver, pork, cuttlefish etc.. It costs $6. Seems a bit steep. Is it good? Yes! It is very tasty. Not too bland, not too salty. It is usually not easy to get the correct liver tenderness cooked. Most of the time, the liver I ate is overcooked when it is pretty hard. But this time, it is chewy. The cuttlefish is also very chewable.
