If you like to go ulu place for dinner, can try Hangar66. It is located in Seletar Aerospace Park. It is so ulu that you likely need to be grab, drive or take a cab there. Is the food good? I order chicken grill. It is quite nice. The chicken tender and crispy. The services is good and food serve quick. Price wise is ok. It is not crowded on a Friday night. There are many interesting plane model on display when you eat. If you afraid of covid, this place is good cos it is very spacious with high ceiling etc.. The tables are very spaced out.
There are many brands of apples out there. If you think all apples are the same, you are wrong. Some are crunchy and some are softer. So if you prefer crunchy and willing to pay a bit higher, go for Envy apples. Envy typically comes from NZ but you will still get from USA. Nevertheless, I have tried both and it is the same crunchy sweet taste. Envy apples usually sold in a more “atas” supermarket like ntuc finest and it can costs about $1.50 per apple.
I have seen the diatomite mat in the market. It is like a sort of cement board act as your mat. It main attraction is the high ability to absorb water. So it good? I would say yes. I tried and it absorb water pretty well. Even better than my towel type mat. Plus it has many nice design to choose from. There are many sizes. But if you want to use it as floor mat, you should get 60cm by 40 cm. You can get it at Ezbuy for as low as $10.
I was invited to have a dinner at this nice place. It is leVel 33. No prize for guessing it is at which level. Anyway, this restaurant is located at Marina Bay Financial Center Tower 1. It has a personal lift up to this restaurant and all you need to press is the close lift door button. Greeted you is their brewery and they said it is the world highest urban brewery whichever it means. The view is nice. You get a bird’s eye view of the Marina Bay area. Opposite is MBS, The Fly and CBD buildings. The restaurant consists of indoor and outdoor. We sat indoor by the window. So it is good? The food I would say is pretty tasty. We order the deluxe set dinner which is $86++ plus some other dishes like oysters as starters. I am not a fan of oysters but it does taste fresh. The meat skewers is very chewy and juicy. I have to recommend their wagyu beef tri-tip. I order medium well and it tastes really succulent! The Iberico pork is also fantastic! The food portion is pretty good. Also try out their signature craft beer. Taste good. Overall, for the price, I think it is quite worth it. Per pax should set you back at around $80-90++.

If you are in North and craving for some fish head steamboat (鱼头炉), can drop by Hup Seng Huat Seafood at Blk 630 coffee shop at Yishun. It is a zichar store. The fish head soup is good and not salty. But it is served in a pot and use gas cooker to heat it. I still prefer serve in those charcoal style steamboat. The portion is good for at least 3 pax. The price is very good. $20 only.
There is a bakery store in the Geylang Bahru Food Center call Red Bake. I want to introduce one item which is mao mao cake. The top is fill with chicken floss and the body is like cream sponge cake. It tastes good. But I feel it is slightly ex at $3.
Before Korean drama takes over Asian, there is Japanese drama. Recently, I came across Japanese drama: Good Doctor (善良医生). This 2018 drama in fact is a remake of a Korean drama. Haha. But anyway, this show is pretty good. It talks about how an autistic doctor becomes a pediatric surgeon. Every episode there will be a case, and the story is very touching.

I always see people asking “Does my car need fuel grade 98?”. Some swear by it and give many reasons. Some just think it is a pure waste of money. There are many reasons online that you can find like what is the advantages of 98. But is 98 really good? I will skip all the scientific reasons and just go for my own feeling after testing. I have driven a few types of cars before and always tried 95 and 98 (even different brands of fuel) to see if there is really difference. My conclusion is
1. Different brands fuel do have some very minor difference. Like fuel efficiency, smoothness of accerelation. But overall, not a deal breaker.
2. 98 is only needed for supercharged or turbocharged car.
I have driven from 1.6l to 4.6l cars before. Also has driven supercharged and turbocharged cars before. I found that big engine cars not necessarily need 98. I pump 95 and 98 on a non supercharged or turbocharged 4.6l car. Accerelation and performance feel actually not much difference. But on a 3l supercharged or turbocharged, the acceleration smoothness and performance, you can feel it. But of cos there are many “scientific reasons” that 98 might be better. So is up to you to decide.
Sembawang White Bee Hoon at Sembawang outlet is always long queue. So is it good elsewhere? I went to IMM outlet on a Wednesday night and unsurprisingly it has many seats. Order their signature white bee hoon. It is as tasty as the main outlet. Ordered the bitter gourd with eggs. The bitter gourd is rather bitter. If it is donw nicely, it will be tasty. The next dish is Teochew hei zhor. It is quite nicely done that is not salty and very crunchy. The food serve fast and price is reasonable.
